The short version of how Mewshot works and what we expect.

Acceptable use

Upload only content you have the right to share. Illegal content, malware, and abusive material are removed and may lead to a ban. We may remove any upload at our discretion.

Anonymous uploads

Images uploaded without an account are deleted automatically 24 hours after upload. Anyone with the link can view the image until then, so treat links as public.

Accounts

Account uploads are stored until you delete them. Your API key grants upload access to your account — keep it secret and regenerate it if it leaks.

Data we store

Your email, a hashed password, your uploads, and basic technical data (upload IP, timestamps, view counts) used for rate limiting and abuse prevention. We don't sell your data.
